Adult Bookstagrammers Who Read Fantasy – Part Two

Welcome back, readers, to another installment of adult bookstagrammers that love to read fantasy. Now, I’m a fan of both adult and YA fantasy. YA fantasy gets a little nerving sometimes because it’s all crashing lips and insta-love and everything kind of easily. But good fantasy is so good and it eats you up and spits out your bones.

So if you love fantasy, here’s list 2/3 on bookstagrammers unafraid to share their love for fantasy too.

"I suppose it's not so easy to change fate." . THE GIRL FROM THE OTHER SIDE: SIΓ™L, A RΓ™N v. 1 by Nagabe. . Β» Once upon a time… Β« Β» In a land far away, there were two kingdoms: the Outside, where twisted beasts roamed that could curse with a touch, and the Inside, where humans lived in safety and peace. The girl and the beast should never have met, but when they do, a quiet fairytale begins. Β« Β» This is a story of two people–one human, one inhuman–who linger in the hazy twilight that separates night from day. Β« . Perfectly creepy!! πŸ‘Ή Really curious where this one goes~ . I'd seen this book around, but didn't acquire it until I saw it on @_hex_libris's feed (check out that dark theme + they have great taste πŸ‘Œ) and still it took me this long to read it. Book bans are great for reading our own tomes. . What a curious thing it was! The art is unique, not the usual manga-style, and the subtlety suits the story. And it's lightly sweet at times… It's got the feel of a fairytale and yet something dangerous and sinister is roiling beneath. . Crossing my fingers that this stays the *right* kind of creepy. . . Bonus points for adorable use of an umbrella. . . #grimdragon 8. Creepy covers #aclassicreadalong 7. Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro – long neglected #booklyricsoct 1/2. Hello Monday, goodbye bread . Photo Description: holding up the manga against an out of focus bookshelf. . πŸ₯–β˜•β˜‚οΈ

  1. I love fantasy, and write it, too. There is no one too old to enjoy dragons and fairies. Well, perhaps not fairies! But I do love a good dragon.
Some of my favourite fantasy books are Dragonlance Saga, Wheel of Time, the Mistwraith series and… oh, anything, really.
