July 2018 Bookish Wrap Up

I can’t believe July is already over. It’s already over! Well, today is the last day, but it feels like it’s already over.

I don’t know how my brain was able to do this, but I read 13 books this month. THIRTEEN. I must be inhuman.

I beat my old record of eight books in a month by almost doubling it. Wow. It feels weird to zip through all these stories, but looking back all of them were so beautiful. They expanded beyond my universe and even went beyond our known universe. I’ve gone to different countries, different times, and even completely imagined worlds. I’ve followed so many characters on their journeys. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve always been so happy.

I’ve watched characters fall in love, travel across the border, solve mysteries, and possess magical powers. I’ve also witness the struggle to take on a cancer-preventing surgery and made sure that Eleanor Oliphant was okay.

Next month is going to be pretty busy outside of my life with books, so I might not be on here. However, I’ll try to update you all on how things are going in the future.

For now, I ask you one question. With all the books I’ve been reading lately (and getting through 13 books in a month), do you still love reading my reviews or would you rather see other content? I don’t want to inundate you with a ton of reviews and not a lot of other content.

I’ve been enjoying your reviews! They’re still thought provoking and interesting even if I haven’t read the book, so that’s been great content in my opinion. I tend to like those better than lists, although those are fun too!

I always feel like, when the reading is especially good, I start flying through books and read way more than I usually do! Happened to me in July too 🙂

I don’t mind seeing you post book reviews for the most part, but I’d also love to see other bookish content on here. Reviews are great, but maybe keep them down to one or two posts per month?
